Yes, we have been stagnant and quiet the past few years and we are still here, the first home established in Shoal Point, before it was ever called Texas City! We are making a come back to reintroduce ourselves into the community and invite all to not only join the TC Heritage Association, but to take part and learn of our town's rich history!!

In the course of creating great changes, some are meant to dream the dreams, some work their fingers to the bone to bring about those changes, and some entice others to bring about that change. Frank Davison did a little of all three. He was not a flamboyant person nor one who gathered great material wealth. He was quiet, dedicated, hard working, and he left his mark. In the words of a granddaughter, "Oh, they never did anything spectacular nor led exciting lives. They just worked hard. But every town has its beginnings, and the most necessary ingredient is the presence of those who possess the foresight to see the possibilities and the stamina to make those possibilities become reality.
