Today is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice made by the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and the freedoms we enjoy each day. 🇺🇸

Today I visited the Memorial Park on 29th Street and the North Loop in Texas City, where plaques honor the men and women who lost their lives defending our nation. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends today, let us take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

A special appreciation to my Uncle PFC Charles Calvin Goetschius - May 11th, 1931 - September 1st 1950. He honorable served in the Army during the Korean War.

My views on our city commission meetings. The voice and participation of the people is not a formality-it is the foundation of accountable government. “Public comment isn’t meant to be comfortable-it’s meant to be free. Whether it brings praise or sharp criticism, the people have the right to speak, even when their words challenge or offend those in power.”

I am honored to announce that I will officially be sworn in as your new Commissioner At-Large on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:00 PM at the Doyle Convention Center.

This moment would not have been possible without the incredible support from all of you, my family, and especially my lovely wife, who stood beside me throughout this entire journey. I am truly grateful for every conversation, word of encouragement, and act of support from the many new faces I had the privilege of meeting along the campaign trail.

I would like to personally invite all of my supporters, friends, and community members to attend the ceremony. It would mean a great deal to have the opportunity to thank you in person and speak with those who helped make this possible.

This journey has not been easy, but it has taught me so much about our community, leadership, and the importance of bringing people together. I look forward to serving our city and working hard for the people each and every day.

Thank you again for believing in me and supporting this campaign from the very beginning. I hope to see you there!

With just two days remaining of early voting, the momentum is building, but our work is not done yet.

Early voting continues Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every single vote matters. These past few days have been incredibly encouraging, and I am truly grateful to everyone who has already taken the time to make their voice heard.

Now, we must stay focused and finish strong.

I’m asking each of you to reach out to your family, friends, and neighbors, remind them of the importance of this election and encourage them to get out and vote. Real change happens when our community shows up together.

As we approach the final stretch, I am also calling on those who want to be more directly involved. We are actively looking for volunteers, block walkers, and poll workers to help carry this campaign across the finish line. This is one of the most impactful ways to get involved and be a part of a movement dedicated to shaping the future of our city.

We are close, but not there yet.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported this campaign and exercised their right to vote. Your participation is what drives this effort forward.

Let’s keep pushing. Let’s finish strong. Let’s make our voices heard.
