Team BRAG North starts off the summer with an amazing peace bbq for the community at East 225th street between Bronxwood Ave. and Barnes Ave. We thank the BRAG North team for setting up the bbq, we thank everyone that came by and enjoyed themselves at our community peace bbq. BRAG holds these peace bbqs every year during the summer as part of our mission to stopping gun violence.
Our next peace bbq will be in July, so follow us if you don’t want to miss out.







El equipo de BRAG North inaugura el verano con una fantástica barbacoa por la paz para la comunidad, celebrada en la calle East 225th, entre las avenidas Bronxwood y Barnes. Agradecemos al equipo de BRAG North por organizar el evento y a todos los que asistieron y disfrutaron de esta barbacoa comunitaria por la paz. BRAG organiza estas barbacoas por la paz cada verano como parte de nuestra misión de poner fin a la violencia armada.

BRAG invites the community to our annual Summer Peace BBQ. As part of our mission, BRAG holds these peace bbqs once every month during the summer to bring the community together with good food, games, raffles, and music. Our first peace bbq begins this Saturday from 10am to 5pm at East 225th between Barnes Ave and Bronxwood Ave. So don’t be late or you’ll miss out on a great day of fun in the sun with BRAG. BRAG invita a la comunidad a nuestra barbacoa anual de verano por la paz. Como parte de nuestra misión, BRAG organiza estas barbacoas por la paz una vez al mes durante el verano para reunir a la comunidad con buena comida, juegos, rifas y música. Nuestra primera barbacoa por la paz comienza este sábado, de 10:00 a. m. a 5:00 p. m., en la calle East 225th, entre las avenidas Barnes y Bronxwood. ¡No llegues tarde o te perderás un gran día de diversión bajo el sol con BRAG! BRAG and SNUG played a friendly game of basketball on Saturday at Hartley Park. We thank everyone that came to the game and congrats to both teams for their teamwork. What matters most is that we all had fun playing together.







BRAG y SNUG jugaron un partido amistoso de baloncesto el sábado en Hartley Park. Agradecemos a todos los que asistieron al partido y felicitamos a ambos equipos por su trabajo en equipo. Lo más importante es que todos nos divertimos jugando juntos.

Team BRAG joins SUV’s Annual Peace Walk in support of our shared mission in stopping gun violence. We thank everyone that came to the event, your support shows how important this is and we will continue to fight for safer communities.







El equipo BRAG se une a la Caminata Anual por la Paz de SUV en apoyo a nuestra misión compartida de poner fin a la violencia armada. Agradecemos a todos los que asistieron al evento; su apoyo demuestra la importancia de esta causa y seguiremos luchando por comunidades más seguras.

The BRAG Northwest team held a free Mother’s Day giveaway to the community last week. We hope everyone that came to our giveaway had a wonderful Mother’s Day.







El equipo de BRAG Northwest organizó la semana pasada un sorteo gratuito para la comunidad con motivo del Día de la Madre. Esperamos que todos los que asistieron a nuestro sorteo hayan tenido un maravilloso Día de la Madre.

GUNS DOWN, LIFE UP!!! On Friday May 8, Team BRAG joined SUV at 650 Rosedale & Randell Ave. This was in response to a 14-year old boy who was shot and injured on May 5th by Rosedale Ave. Both BRAG and SUV share the same goal: to make our streets safer for kids, their families and neighbors. BRAG will continue to support and work with SUV in the battle against gun violence.







¡¡¡ABAJO LAS ARMAS, ARRIBA LA VIDA!!! El viernes 8 de mayo, el equipo BRAG se unió a SUV en el 650 de Rosedale y Randell Ave. Esta acción se llevó a cabo en respuesta al caso de un joven de 14 años que resultó herido de bala el 5 de mayo en las inmediaciones de Rosedale Ave. Tanto BRAG como SUV comparten un mismo objetivo: hacer que nuestras calles sean más seguras para los niños, sus familias y los vecinos. BRAG continuará brindando su apoyo y trabajando junto a SUV en la lucha contra la violencia armada.
