🏵️ 🌺 FIELD TRIP SEASON CONTINUES 🌺 🏵️
Just last week, students in the Class of 2027 School of Professional Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden visited Chanticleer Garden and Natural Lands Stoneleigh Garden for an inspiring field trip exploring two of the Philadelphia region's most innovative public gardens.
At Natural Lands Stoneleigh Gardens, students observed the integration of native plants within a historic estate setting, with highlights including the Circle Garden, striking flamethrower redbuds, and restored architectural elements.
At Chanticleer Garden, the group explored garden rooms like the Teacup Garden and the Ruin Garden, experiencing firsthand how horticulture can blend artistry, ecology, and playfulness.
The trip offered valuable insight into how thoughtful garden design can support biodiversity, engage the senses, and shape a deeper connection to place.
Special thanks to Ethan Kauffman and 🏵️ 🌺 FIELD TRIP SEASON CONTINUES 🌺 🏵️
