Building community through people, parks and programs. NWCPRD is a special services district, established in 1984.

We maintain 9 community parks, and a sports-field complex, totaling more than 150 acres. Included in these parks are picnic shelters, playgrounds, an 18-hole Disc Golf course, restrooms, tennis courts, 50-meter swimming pool, and a splash pad. We provide recreational programs for the residents of our service district and the area surrounding Northern Wasco County.

It's a perfect day to get out and enjoy the upgrades we made to Kiwanis Park at Klindt's Cove this year! 😎😎😎 New terracing and improvements to the beach make the cove an even better place to cool off and enjoy the river with the family. We’ve also been working to remove invasive plants along the shoreline, giving native flora more room to thrive.
