From Lisa: I've been a bus driver for five years and have spent most of my life in The Dalles. When I’m not behind the wheel, I love spending time with my husband, son, and friends. I also enjoy gardening, being an artist, and now an amateur photographer. I drive my husband crazy whenever we go out to eat. I won’t let him touch his food until I get pictures of it.
About our glam rider: Salt’s pink boots and rainbow glasses make every bus trip a glamorous adventure. Salt and her sibling Peppa ride with their human to provide comfort and support. Salt loves to ride The Link Public Transit in style!

Transit closures coming up for Juneteenth this Friday! CAT runs weekend services, The Dalles between Hood River runs weekend services, and all other services will be closed.

😊🍒🍰😢There were smiles, cherries and cake to celebrate on Friday, but we are sad to have said goodbye to two members of The Link Public Transit team. Jesus Mendoza (left) served as Transportation Operations Manager for the past five years and Casey Ruiz (right) has been a driver at The Link for the past ten years! Thank you, Gentlemen! Field Supervisor Laura Reed, (center) as well as the rest of the staff, wish them all the best.😊

Riding to work from 5-Mile in the cool morning is nice, as long as The Link can take you home in the heat of the late afternoon!
