This morning, we come together with hearts full of compassion to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their community and their country. Today, we pay tribute not only to the 343 firefighters who perished that fateful day but also to the brave men and women who stood beside them. We honor those men and women who went to work in those buildings, got on those planes; we remember. We remember all the service members who did not return from the ongoing war on terror, and those who, amidst the chaos at Ground Zero, courageously sought to find and save all those wounded and buried.

Today, we remember…

A friend captured this last night at the End of Summer Bash downtown. Just thought I’d share it with folks just in case you didn’t make it down. Good music, lots of folks downtown visiting and dancing and just enjoying the wonderful atmosphere

Friday Night Lights!
Tonight marks the exhilarating season opener for Bobcat Football! The fire department will be roaring with excitement, celebrating every Bobcat touchdown with lights, sirens, and a spectacular 3-inch mortar salute.
Please be aware that these festivities will resonate throughout town and nearby areas. If you or your pets are sensitive to loud sounds, please take appropriate precautions.

Tuesday night is training night! Check out these photos from the past few weeks of training. Over the last year and a half, we've welcomed some new members who have been honing their skills on pumping trucks, while our more experienced team members have been practicing cutting ventilation holes on our newly built roof prop.

What do you do when your members have seniors? You put together a pig wrestling team and help support the senior class. Come on out this Saturday and cheer on your favorite team and help support the 2027 Graduating Seniors.

A huge shout out to all of you who came out and braved the heat to attend our annual open house!! We greatly appreciate your support. We could not do this job without the amazing support of our community. We also want to thank Nathan Gurtler for adding a bit of music and announcing activities this year.

Some people choose the fire service, for others, it's simply a part of who they are. Being born into a fire family, watching your dad dedicate his life to the community, creates a mindset that this is who you are. You set your sights on being a fireman, you joined Thermop Fire when you reached the age limit, hard work and dedication pushed you into a career in Laramie where you flourished and grew to heights you hadn't even imagined. Justin we are proud of you and all that you have become. Congratulations on your retirement and we wish you well in your next chapter.
