Well, in a first for us since we've been a satellite adoption site for cats from Pope Memorial Humane Society, one of the library cat adoptions didn't work out. So we had a brief few days with the lovely Lucy before Trixi and Rita came back to the shelter. Everyone agreed it would be best for the sisters be back in a familiar environment and have more space to run around. Please go visit Lucy at Pope, and if you're looking for the sweetest, coziest lap kitty with the softest belly floof to ever floof (and boy, does she LOVE belly rubs), maybe she's the cat for you!

And come by the library to welcome back Trixi and Rita! Rita always loves some play time, and Trixi might be napping on top of a bookshelf or might be looking for treats and pets. They also love belly rubs, so if you catch them flopping on the floor and stretching out, it is absolutely an invitation!
