Pathways Educational Program

We finished strong heading into Fall Break! Congrats to our Student of the Week Amauri, who unfortunately was absent and our other nominees, Hunter and Alex! Great work. We held meetings on 6 kids to either begin a transition or increase time at their home school, which is the true success of our program. We are proud of all the work our staff and students do.

Huge shoutout to Mrs. Wingate and Mrs. McCray for hosting Fun Friday with Ice Cream trivia and an Ice Cream bar. Fun and treats were had.

Fall Break is well earned and we will Sharpen our Axe and be ready for the 2nd 9 weeks!

Happy Coaches Day to the one and only Coach Bill Wilhelm!

🏆 Coaches do so much more than coach.

On National Coaches Day, we’re celebrating all of the coaches who make a difference in the lives of our students—from our athletic coaches to the PE teachers who get kids moving and learning every day.

They teach teamwork, perseverance, confidence and healthy habits while encouraging students to be their best—on and off the field.

Thank you for your dedication to our students and for caring about their well-being every step of the way! 💙💛

Staff Spotlight-Ms. Alexis Bailey

Ms. Bailey teaches our Upper Elementary Class. She is our newest Pathways family member, coming to us late in the summer and new to town. Ms. Bailey brings with her a calm and consistent demeanor and a diverse background, bringing experience in Special Education, Autism, Applied Behavior Analysis, and many more. She is working on her Doctorate and will be defending her dissertation in the coming months. We are so thankful to have her.

Congrats to our September Student of the Month-Rowyn and our first repeat Student of the Week Haven. Our other nominees Josh and McKenzie (not pictured) were very deserving of recognition as well. We had great participation for Blue and Gold Day and way to go to our winners Mrs. Ashley and Jer’mani. Kudos to Ms. Smith and Mrs. Ashley for the game day face paint. We finished up with popcorn and movies for Fun Friday hosted by Ms. Smith and Mr. Press

Staff Spotlight-Mrs. Ashley Stephens

Mrs. Ashley is another jack-of-all-trades at Pathways. She works with our middle and high school students, helps out in the front office with student files, serves as a Mindset trainer, helps out in Intervention when needed, and many, many other things. She does all of this with a bright personality and positive attitude. She is constantly helping out and doing for others, and we truly couldn't do it without her.

Throwback Thursday was a hit! The staff vote was a one vote margin. Congrats to Mrs. Wingate for rocking the best decade to be born and to Rowyn for going way back with Jimmy Hendrix. We had to get an extra picture after school because Ms. Dennis as usual is too busy to get to lunch. Mrs. McCray couldn’t be with us today but made sure to send us a pic and let us know she was there in spirit

Boy did we have some Characters today for Character day! Congrats to our winners, Rosie The Riveter (Ms. Smith) and Sonic (Brycen) as they won a close vote today. Tomorrow we go back to the future with Throwback Thursday.
