October is National Physical Therapy Month, and this year’s APTA theme is “PT For Future Me” — a great reminder that physical therapy isn’t just for recovering from an injury, it’s for staying strong, steady, and independent for years to come!
We’re so grateful for the physical therapists who visit our residents. Whether it’s rebuilding strength after a hospital stay, improving balance to help prevent falls, or simply keeping our residents moving comfortably through daily life, their work makes a real difference in the lives of the people we love.
Did you know physical therapy can reduce fall risk in older adults by up to 37%? For our residents, that’s not just a statistic — it’s more good days spent doing the things they enjoy. If you’ve ever chatted with one of our visiting PTs in the halls or seen them working with a resident, drop a 💙 below — we know our residents (and our staff!) appreciate them as much as we do.
