The library has partnered with the Children's Board of Hillsborough County to bring awareness of the importance of providing safe and secure environments for children by creating pinwheel gardens outside our library branches throughout the county. Fresh for fall, these festive and fun pumpkins were decorated in lavishly literary style by library staff.

These turtles may not have been teenage, mutant, or ninjas, but they were drawn by our local artists at the Thonotosassa Branch Library with expert artistic guidance from The Florida Aquarium. The artists also learned about the various turtle species around the globe and even got to touch a real turtle shell.
