Never Forget
Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Our community gathered for the annual memorial to honor the thousands of lives lost that day and to pay tribute to the first responders who gave everything in service of others.

Many of us remember exactly where we were in that moment of tragedy. It’s a memory we must carry with us, ensuring that younger generations never take for granted the liberty and freedom we enjoy, or the ultimate sacrifice made by so many that day.

To all who serve and have served in protection of our nation, thank you. We will never forget.

🇺🇸 **Happy Labor Day!** 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the hardworking people who keep our families, businesses, and communities moving forward. From teachers and nurses to first responders, tradespeople, small-business owners, city employees, and everyone who gets up each day to contribute—we thank you.

I’m proud to represent a community built by people who work hard, care deeply, and believe in making Thornton a better place for everyone.

Take some time today to rest, recharge, and enjoy the people who matter most.

I had the privilege of speaking with third-grade students today about local government—and they brought incredible energy and curiosity to the conversation!

Their thoughtful questions were a great reminder that civic engagement starts at every age. Our community’s future leaders are already learning, asking questions, and making their voices heard. 🏛️📚
