Westgate laced up for Innovation in Motion, our annual Fun Run supporting iLab! 🏃‍♀️💜

Students ran laps for their classes and personal bibs, with friends and family cheering them on from the sidelines.

This year, our Westgate community raised over $10,000 to support iLab and bring more innovative, hands-on projects to our students.

Thank you to every family who sponsored a student and every volunteer who helped make race day happen. We couldn’t have done it without you! 👏

🔬 Hands-on learning in action!

Our 7th and 8th graders are getting up close with microscopes in science class, putting their learning into practice and exploring the world around them.

At Westgate, gifted best practices aren't reserved for a select few. There’s no GT testing or ALP required. Every classroom is designed to challenge and engage every student.

If you've been curious about Westgate, now is a great time to learn more! 🎒

🌲 Our 5th and 6th graders just got back from their Outdoor Education trip! 🏕️

From August 31st through September 2nd, students headed to Keystone Science School for an experience our 5th and 6th graders look forward to every year 🎒

They built teamwork through hands-on activities 🤝, learned the basics of wildlife and wilderness survival 🦌🔥, and applied their science and social studies learning to the real world along the way 🔬📚

Opportunities like this are part of what makes a Westgate education different — we're proud to give our students the chance to learn beyond the classroom. 🌿

🎒 We're a few weeks into the school year, and it's been so good to see our students settle back in!

From new friendships to familiar faces reconnecting at recess, our campus has been full of energy since day one.

This is what community looks like at Westgate. 💙 Small class sizes where every student is known, a Whole Child approach that values connection as much as academics, and a campus built for kids to explore, play, and grow.

Here's to a great year ahead! 📚
