After several months of discussions with family and friends, I have decided that I will NOT seek a fifth term as the Sheriff of Tift County in 2028.
I understand that there are several individuals who plan to seek the Office of Sheriff of Tift County should I not seek Re-election.
Hopefully, by my announcement, this will give the prospective candidates ample time to present their desires and qualifications to the registered voters of Tift County.
So, with that being said, for the remaining 27 months of my fourth term, I will continue to serve as your Sheriff, to the best of my abilities.
