A new chapter begins at Tinker.
The 752nd Operations Support Squadron was inactivated and the 71st Air Control Squadron was activated during a ceremony at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, June 5.
The ceremony honored the 752nd OSS “Sabers” and their 18 years of service while welcoming the return of the 71st ACS “Alley Cats” to the 552nd Air Control Wing.
Congratulations to Lt. Col. Jonathan Daniel as he assumes command of the 71st ACS, and thank you to Lt. Col. Brian Hamilton and the Sabers for their lasting contributions to the battle management and command-and-control mission.

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — The 752nd Operations Support Squadron was inactivated, and the 71st Air Control Squadron was activated during a ceremony June 5 at Tinker Air Force Base, marking the end of one unit's 18-year history and the return of another whose lineage dates to 1969.

The 965th Airborne Air Control Squadron welcomed Lt. Col. Blake Wiegmann as its new commander during a change of command ceremony June 5 at Tinker Air Force Base.
Wiegmann assumed command from Lt. Col. Jaxon Lee, who led the Golden Falcons through two years of mission ex*****on, readiness and support to combatant commanders around the world.

SrA Ethan Witt is this week's Airman of the Week for his exceptional leadership and technical expertise within the 552 Maintenance Squadron. As an E-3 Tail Area Lead, he trained 9 Airmen in flight control inspections, DIFM/DRMO procedures, and IMDS documentation, directly improving section readiness and strengthening maintenance operations.
When an E-3 mold infestation threatened fleet availability, SrA Witt stepped up to train junior personnel on proper abatement and safety procedures, helping preserve mission capability. He also volunteered beyond his primary duties by emceeing the 552d Maintenance Group Quarterly Awards Ceremony and leading a six-person team responsible for event setup and teardown, demonstrating outstanding professionalism and commitment to the wing.

A1C Owen Bryant is this week's Airman of the Week for his initiative and impact within the 552 Training Support Squadron. While awaiting training, he proactively sought a casual position in the TRSS Security Office, where he co-created a 10-document administrative portfolio supporting 123 personnel and accelerating the security clearance process to keep members mission-ready.
His work now serves as the squadron's primary centralized tool for tracking and enforcing annual training requirements, streamlining oversight, and improving overall training compliance. A1C Bryant's dedication, professionalism, and willingness to step up have made a lasting impact across the squadron.

SrA Chloe Agosto is this week's Airman of the Week for her exceptional leadership and impact across the 552 Operations Support Squadron. Stepping up during a 66% temporary OST manning loss, she trained three new members, ensured completion of monthly tasks, and supported RAP tracking for 10 aircrew positions across the wing while providing leadership key insights on staffing shortfalls and trends.
As an E-3 ARO instructor, SrA Agosto also led the 2026 E-3G Core Competencies ADVANCE checklist rewrite, coordinating subject matter experts from six aircrew positions to establish timelines and draft updated guidance. She additionally delivered 16 hours of ground and in-flight training for a requalification plan, strengthening group ARO manning and demonstrating the expertise and dependability that make her a vital member of the squadron.
