Usually, we use our platform to share information with the community and updates on happenings in and around Lake County. Today is officially Dolly Day, and since Dolly loved books in hand, we would love to help you celebrate it!

If it's on your heart to donate to the library, please do; we accept checks, cash, and cards. If you'd rather get something instead, we have TONS of free material for all ages. Please visit the library and see if we have anything you need for your collection.

We are also a Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Destination; you may sign up your children under 5 to receive books delivered to your home. All picked by Dolly to aid in early literacy and bring families together, one little story at a time!

Say a prayer for Lake County, your local libraries, neighbors, and friends. Remember that Dolly is gone, but her values and general kindness can live on with you.

Members of the Lake County Board of Trustees for the Tiptonville Public Library attended the 2026 Tennessee Trustee Workshop in Jackson, TN, today. It was a great opportunity for these dedicated trustees to learn, connect, and share ideas that support our library and community.
