Mercer County is updating its Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) and is seeking public input on the recently released draft plan. The HMP identifies risks associated with natural disasters and outlines long-term strategies to better protect people, property, and infrastructure throughout the county.

Residents are encouraged to attend the virtual public meeting to learn about the plan's findings, provide feedback, and ask questions. Public comments are being accepted through October 14th, 2026.
