🚀 Rocket Re-Fuel Food & Item Drive is Back! 🚀

The University of Toledo Police Department is proud to kick off our annual Rocket Re-Fuel Food & Item Drive as part of Faith & Blue. Throughout October, we invite the campus community to come together to help stock the Rocket Fuel Student Pantries and support students experiencing food insecurity.

Why Your Support Matters

At The University of Toledo, we know that student success starts with having basic needs met. When students don't have to worry about where their next meal will come from, they can focus on learning, growing, and achieving their goals.

During the 2025-2026 academic year, the Rocket Fuel Student Pantries welcomed:

🔹 2,424 student visits on Main Campus
🔹 191 student visits on Health Science Campus
🔹 Approximately 217 students served each month

The need is significant, and the Rocket Fuel Student Pantries are supported entirely through donations from our campus and community. Every item and every dollar donated helps fuel our Rockets for success by ensuring students have access to the food, hygiene products, and household essentials they need to thrive.

Make an Impact... and Claim the Bragging Rights!

Rocket Re-Fuel is more than a donation drive. It's also a friendly campus competition!

Departments, offices, student organizations, and campus groups will compete throughout October to collect the greatest number of donations for the Rocket Fuel Student Pantries. At the conclusion of the drive, all donations will be counted, and the group contributing the highest total will earn:

🏆 Year-long bragging rights
🏆 A framed Rocket Re-Fuel Champion Certificate

💙 Financial donations count, too! Every $1 donated equals one item toward your department's, office's, or organization's collection total. Monetary donations can be credited to the participating group of your choice, helping your team climb the leaderboard while providing the pantry with flexibility to purchase the items most needed by students.

Last year, the Rocket community donated more than 3,000 items. Let's work together to make an even greater impact this year!

Want to Participate?

If your office or organization hasn't signed up yet, there's still time! We have a limited number of blue collection bins available for pickup at:

Together, we can fuel our Rockets for success, strengthen our campus community, and ensure that every student has the resources they need to reach their full potential.

💙 Thank you for supporting Rocket Re-Fuel and helping fellow Rockets thrive! 🚀

Patriot Day | September 11, 2026

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, and recognize the countless heroes who answered the call in the days and months that followed.

As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, we extend our gratitude to the Police, Fire, EMS, military personnel, and all public safety professionals who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.

May we never forget the sacrifices made, the resilience shown, and the unity that emerged in the face of tragedy.

United We Stand.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
