MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Grades 5-12‼️

During September's Attendance Awareness Month, we challenged our students to show up, stay engaged, and prioritize their education every single day. We asked for strong attendance and our students truly delivered!

Thanks to their incredible effort, dedication, and school pride, both our Middle School and High School exceeded the 94% attendance goal for the month of September!

Their hard work has officially paid off: Middle and High School students have earned Spirit Week for October 12th–16th!

We’re proud to celebrate some exciting news for Horizon Science Academy Toledo!
The Toledo Blade recently highlighted our school’s success after we earned an overall rating of 4.5 stars, making Horizon one of only two Toledo-area community schools to earn more than 4 stars. Principal Rachel Snyder summed it up best: this achievement is truly a team effort, made possible by our dedicated teachers and staff, hardworking students, and supportive families.

What an awesome turnout for our blood drive! 🩸❤️

Thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and donated, we had 28 donors and collected 24 units of blood. Those donations have the potential to help save up to 72 lives!

We’re now almost halfway to our goal of collecting 51 units this school year, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who donated, helped out, or supported the drive.
