Sister Cities Update: Guten Morgen!

This is a reminder that the Coburg Sister City committee will be meeting this Friday, Sept. 18th for our monthly meeting. Even if you haven't been active recently, we would love to have you attend.

We meet downstairs at the Bavarian Sports Club at 2102 Lagrange St. at 6:00 pm for those who would like to buy a meal or a drink before the meeting or at 7:00 for the meeting itself.

Among other things, we will be recapping our very successful time at the International Festival, talking about Councilman Nick Komives' current visit in Coburg, and plans for the Outdoor Holiday Market and Christmas parade in November, and possibly discussing decorating a Christmas tree for the Toledo Club tree auction.

(Sarah Curtis will be conducting the meeting this time, as I will be out of town celebrating my 70th birthday!)

Hoping you can make it,

Roseanne

Update! Central is now open to traffic as normal!

ACHTUNG!
Anyone that may be planning to attend the annual picnic today, we have a little info. We were informed by the park rangers that a very large oak tree fell yesterday near the main entrance to wildwood, blocking the road and taking down lots of power/cable lines. After speaking with the rangers this morning, they are hopeful that most of it will be cleaned up by our event time, but if not, we still have power at the sycamore shelter (near the ward pavilion) and are still able to access our parking lot from central or the “exit” in Corey rd. Hope to see you all there for a little afternoon of GemĂŒtlichkeit!! đŸ§ș
