This is Fire Prevention Week! This year's theme is: “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.” Lithium-ion batteries power our everyday devices, but improper charging can turn that power into a fire risk. Let’s make safe charging habits our everyday superpower—use the right charger, never leave devices unattended while charging, and keep batteries cool to help protect our homes and communities.

Does your family have a fire safety plan? If not, contact your local fire department about Operation E.D.I.T.H.!

Does your family have a fire safety plan? If not, contact your local fire department about Operation E.D.I.T.H.!

This is Fire Prevention Week. Throughout this week the Dysart Fire Department will be doing activities at the schools and daycares in Dysart.

The whole family should be ready to practice Operation E.D.I.T.H on Tuesday night by 7PM. Once your family has practiced your Exit Drills in the Home, turn on your porch light. The firefighters will be driving around town to see how many households participated.

If you have questions, flag down one of the trucks and we will be happy to help.
