Our State Representative Tammy Nuccio State Representative Tim Ackert and Senator Jeff Gordon are working together from all angles to help CT families in our area. We are working closely with them - in a combined effort - to bring relief.

Affordability is one of the biggest challenges facing Connecticut families today - and it’s clear that people need relief now.

That’s why I’m joining my House Republican colleagues in pushing for the largest property tax credit in state history - a plan that delivers real relief for families and people struggling with the high cost of living.

Our proposal would raise the property tax credit from $300 to $1,000 - a $700 increase that helps ease the burden on owners of property, including homes and vehicles. And importantly, this plan doesn’t reduce municipal revenue - our towns stay whole.

This isn’t about politics - it’s about doing what’s right for the people we represent. Families are working harder than ever, and it’s time they get to keep more of what they earn.

Halloween is near and we’d like to invite you to HALLOWEEEN ON THE GREEN for a little “trick or treat” on Friday, Oct 31 from 5-8pm. Visit with our superheroes as they walk around the neighborhood, gather around the cauldron for some scary stories and stop by for a treat or two. Mark your calendar and come visit. 🌟 🌟 This Week’s Superhero: Mark Mitchell! 🌟 🌟

By day Mark contributes to government accountability in a variety of ways - with strategic thinking, data driven analysis and business process insights. He uses his internal auditing skills to improve state and local government operations and shares his expertise to help small businesses thrive. Mark is a CGFM seminar instructor, helping federal, state, and local government employees prepare to take the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) exam.

By night he gives back to the community - by serving on Tolland's Board of Assessment Appeals, serving on his college Foundation Board, and serving as the National President of AGA, a volunteer honor for an association dedicated to educating government financial management professionals.

Community-minded, and always up for a friendly conversation, Mark is now ready to bring his dedication and energy to his next challenge: running for the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC).
