The will look a little different this year due to . Keep your loved one and your community safe by celebrating with safety in mind. This year we recommend that you continue to , wear your and watch online.
I know I have many community members with medical backgrounds and/or lots of CERT/Emergency training that could really help our community during this time.
Medical and Non-Medical Volunteers are needed to assist Harris County.
We cannot do this without you ! Volunteers like you all, have hearts of gold. I have spent many days and nights throughout the last 5 years watching CERT members in action and have been so humbled by their generosity of spirit to assist others.
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve there becomes an increased need for volunteers to help the community. The Harris County Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) is a community-based, volunteer program that utilizes volunteers who want to donate their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies within the community just like the CERT Program. (Medical & Non-Medical)
At this time the Tomball CERT Team has not been activated but If you would like to volunteer during the COVID-19 response in the Houston/Harris County area please sign up here:
Register as an MRC volunteer - https://www.texasdisastervolunteerregistry.org/
Click âAdd Organizationâ and search for Harris County Organizations and you will find Harris County MRC.
Thank you CERT members throughout the community for all that you have done and continue to do for Harris County.
