Three Tax Truths:
1. The TISD Bond won’t raise the tax rate above the current total tax rate!
2. The total TISD tax rate is approximately 30 cents lower now than in 2015 (per $100 of home value).
3. TISD regularly pays down debt early and has saved taxpayers $69.4 million in recent years!

Parents and community members who served on the Bond 2025 Committee and TISD are being proactive when it comes to safety and fiscally responsible to put out to vote on the Multi-Program Activity Centers. UIL currently recommends these best practices to allow schools some flexibility as they adjust and adapt to their recommended heat policies. In 2024, TISD calculated 167 weather impacted days for extreme heat or cold.
