Did you know the City of Tomball Railroad Depot Museum offers free tours for residents and visitors to explore Tomball’s railroad history?
Located in the historic 1907 Depot building at the Tomball Depot Plaza, 201 S. Elm St., the Tomball Railroad Depot Museum provides guests with an opportunity to learn more about the community’s history through interactive tours, train memorabilia, original artwork, antiques, and two highly detailed model railroads.
Free tours are available every Saturday throughout the year from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During the summer season, the museum will also offer additional weekday tour opportunities on the first Wednesday of June, July, and August. These expanded hours provide more opportunities for families, residents, and visitors to experience one of Tomball’s historic landmarks.
In addition to the museum, the Tomball Depot Plaza features two side-by-side splash pads that are open daily during the summer from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Guests can activate the splash pads by touching the designated “raindeck” sensors with bare skin to start the water features.
