During its Sept. 30 meeting, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners joined with members of the Ocean County Health Department to officially proclaimed October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Ocean County.
Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione, liaison to the Ocean County Health Department, recognized Public Health Coordinator Dan Regeyne and his staff on their continued efforts to promote awareness, education, and early detection.
Regenye emphasized the critical importance of early screenings and regular checkups, which can significantly improve outcomes in the fight against breast cancer.
Together, we honor survivors, support those currently battling, and remember those we've lost. Let’s continue to raise awareness and encourage early detection.
