Adult Transition Center at Ocean County College

The Adult Transition Center provides a college-based transition program for young adults ages 18–24 with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

The program focuses on exploring college and career pathways, developing employment skills, strengthening independent living abilities, and building self-advocacy and decision-making skills.

Measles Prevention: Important Information for Early Childhood Education Centers

Measles is a highly contagious virus that can spread quickly in childcare and early education settings.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided a checklist to help early care and education centers prepare for and respond to possible measles cases.

The guidance includes recognizing symptoms, reviewing vaccination requirements, establishing isolation procedures, and coordinating with local health departments to protect children, families, and staff.

Early preparation and awareness are important steps in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

Holiday Toy Program – Registration Closes October 23!

Lunch Break's Holiday Toy Program is accepting registrations through Friday, October 23, 2026.

The program provides toys for children from newborn through age 9 and gift cards for children ages 10–17.

Registration is online and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of identification, proof of address, and a birth certificate or school enrollment letter for each child are required.

Toy distribution is scheduled for December 12.

El programa ofrece juguetes para niños desde recién nacidos hasta los 9 años y tarjetas de regalo para niños de 10 a 17 años.

La inscripción es en línea y se atenderá por orden de llegada. Se requiere identificación, comprobante de domicilio y acta de nacimiento o certificado de matrícula escolar de cada niño.
