On Saturday afternoon, January 10, 2026, members of the Sheridan Drive Lions Club came together to prepare a meal for 20 guests at Kevin Guest House. Vice District Governor Lion Paul Smith and Lion Steve Smith delivered a complete roast chicken dinner to Kevin Guest House. This meal was made possible by the financial donations you give us every time you support one of our fundraisers. Thank you for your support and together, We Serve!

Parkinson’s is one of the causes that we support. You don’t need to be a Lion to join our team or make a donation. This is a fun event that raises money for research and resources to help people with Parkinson’s. We Serve!

It was a beautiful day for the VIP picnic yesterday at Five Senses Park in Wheatfield. We partnered with several other Lions clubs in western NY and invited people with varying degrees of visual impairment to a picnic with music, corn on the cob, snacks, bbq chicken lunch, ice cream and cupcakes, and Bingo. This is event is an annual event and is always a great, fun time!

We got together on Saturday, July 19th to make a meal for about 20 guests at Kevin Guest House. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, and made potato salad, macaroni and cheese and chocolate chip cookies. Kevin Guest House is a place where family members of patients at Buffalo General Hospital can stay while their loved ones are receiving treatment.

A huge thank you to members of the Gasport, Tonawandas Erie Canal Gateway and Sheridan Drive Lions who came together today to conduct a food drive sponsored by the WNY Lions from 8am to 2pm at the Market In The Square (Budwey’s) North Tonawanda location. There was also a food drive at the Market In The Square location happening simultaneously. Together, WNY Lions at the North Tonawanda and West Seneca Market In the Square collected a combined whopping 2,149 pounds of food and $1,067 in cash! That’s a literal ton of food! Feedmore WNY was very thankful for all of the food, goods and monetary donations from the teo locations that were delivered after the food drive. Thank you to all of our customers at both locations who gave generously! Thank you to Market In The Square in North Tonawanda and West Seneca for hosting our food drives! We could not do it without the public’s support! The pictures below are from the food drive at the Market In The Square North Tonawanda location. We’re always looking for new members, ask us how to join! We Serve!

Did you know that one of the causes that Lions support is disaster relief? First, when something like Hurricane Helene hits, Lions are most often the first ones to be there to lend a helping hand when it might be hard to get in critical supplies. Why? Because we’re members in the communities where we live so we’re already there and willing to mobilize. Second, one major way that we support disaster relief is by donating money to LCIF, the Lions Clubs International Foundation. When you or your local Lions Club donates money raised from fundraisers to LCIF, 100% of your dollars goes to an impacted community in the form of grants. Other Lions Clubs gather supplies like food and water to send to communities impacted by a natural disaster.
