There is one pocket that crews will be dealing with the rest of the day and will be the focus of crews tomorrow. Thank you to the federal and state crews that are working hard keeping our communities safe.

Update to the bluebird fire August 19 at 8:30 AM. The fire did grow a little bit overnight and the Tonto national Forrest is on top of the fire. Additional crews have been ordered. They will be here later this morning and this afternoon. They’ve also ordered a helicopter to support the ground crews and we are still working closely with the Tonto national Forest and Gila County office of emergency management.
