Bullying doesn't look just one way. It shows up in person, on a screen, and sometimes in the quiet exclusion kids feel from their peer group.

The most useful thing an adult can do is stay curious instead of jumping straight to advice. Ask open questions, listen without judgment, and help your child think through what support looks like for them.

We are incredibly grateful to the Topeka Credit Union Foundation for their generous $1,000 grant to support professional interpretation services at LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center. ❤️

Thank you for investing in our mission and helping us make sure every child and family has access to the support they need. We are so grateful for your partnership and commitment to our community!

A $1,000 Topeka Credit Union Foundation grant was awarded to LifeHouse Child Advocacy Center to support professional interpretation services. The funding will help remove language barriers so children who have experienced abuse and their families can access critical support throughout the investigative and healing process.

🎹 What an incredible night! 🎉

This past Saturday, our 13th Annual Dueling Pianos event raised $145,000, surpassing our $130,000 goal! 🙌

We are so grateful to all of our supporters who made this possible, and especially to our amazing volunteers from the University of Kansas, Hayden Catholic High School, Topeka High School, and Washburn Rural High School. We couldn’t have done it without you!

A special thank-you to our incredible Presenting Sponsor, the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office, for helping make this event such a success.

October 12th is Indigenous Peoples' Day, a day to honor the cultures, histories, and enduring contributions of Indigenous communities across North America.

So much of Indigenous history, tradition, and perspective is woven into the story of this country, and this is a good day to explore it a little more.

The Smithsonian's Native Knowledge 360° program is a wonderful place to start, covering everything from Indigenous history and culture to civics and geography, all developed in partnership with Native communities.
