Yesterday at the Wellsboro Active Living Center, Sandy and Mary Higgins were here for their monthly musical performance. This time, however, there seemed to be an even deeper meaning behind the beautiful music they shared with us.

As we remembered 25 years since 9/11, we also honored and remembered all those whose lives were tragically lost on that terrible day.

The music played yesterday held a special meaning for all of us. Thank you, Sandy and Mary, for sharing your beautiful talents and helping us remember, reflect, and honor those we will never forget.

The Wellsboro Active Living Center participants always look forward to Trooper Rob Evanchick's visits! On Tuesday, he joined us at the Center to give an informative presentation on scams, which is such an important issue, especially for older adults.

We truly appreciate the time he spends with us, including staying for lunch and visiting with our participants. Thank you, Trooper Evanchick for everything you do for us at the Wellsboro Active Living Center and for all you do to serve and support our community. We appreciate you! 💙

As part of its annual Give Back to the Community Initiative, the Wellsboro Active Living Center recently held a fundraiser in support of the Tioga County Foster Care program. To assist in this effort, the the Wellsboro Active Living Center raffled off a beautiful, handcrafted queen-size quilt accompanied by matching pillow shams. The fundraiser was a tremendous success!

Annie Fisher, Wellsboro Active Living Center Manager, was pleased to present a check to the Tioga County Foster Care program. The Wellsboro Active Living Center is proud to support this wonderful organization and is grateful to everyone who participated in the fundraiser and helped make this contribution possible.

The Wellsboro Center participants were busy last Friday as they took a trip to Mill Cove Environmental Area for a picnic in the beautiful Tioga County hills.
It was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, great company, and amazing views. Everyone enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking in the beautiful scenery.

It was a gorgeous day last Thursday for the Wellsboro Active Living Center participants as they took a trip down the Susquehanna River aboard the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat! ☀️🚤
You couldn’t have asked for better weather for a day on the water. And, of course, no outing is complete without a little ice cream! 🍦 Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful scenery, great weather, and sweet treats along the way. What a memorable day!
