Towanda KS Public Library

We want to give a shout out and big THANK YOU to our very own Towanda Friends of the Library for National Friends of the Library Week! They have been steadfast supporters and true friends. They even won an Outstanding Friends Award from Friends of Kansas Libraries (FOKL) earlier this year. The last year or two they have revamped their fundraising and community and library events.

Thank you all so much!!

With Circle's "Circle Back Program" we were lucky enough to have a group of Circle Volleyball players come by to help clean up the library and the park! Our Director gave them a short of list of things that needed to be done, and they jumped right into it. They weeded every garden bed, picked up some trash, lopped off rogue limbs and volunteer trees, moved pavers and giant rocks, and even had time to do an impromptu Story Time inside! Then they were off to play some matches down in Rose Hill.

Thank you for your hard work ladies! Congrats on getting to 1000 wins with Coach Nibarger, and GO T-BIRDS!

Good morning everyone!!

Good news! We have working phones that can be answered and have both ends be heard and calls not suddenly be dropped!

Good morning everyone! Just a few announcements.

Our new equipment for our phones should be arriving today! We will let you know on here when our phone lines are fully operational again 😁

A friendly reminder to be sure to close the blessing boxes at the library. When we arrived this morning they were both wide open, and an animal had gone through and destroyed some of the food 😢

This Monday is a BIG day. We have our adult group meeting from 1:00-2:30pm for games, crafts, snacks, and fun; Creators Club for school kids from 3:30pm-4:30pm, and our regular Board Meeting starting at 6:30pm.
