📄 City Proposal 1 projects $139,959,327 in TIF capture from 2028 to 2047. That's taxes levied for the city, county, NMC, library and BATA, diverted to the DDA.
🔍 "No one else pays a penny"? This year's county ballot language for the BATA and Conservation District millages says part of that money goes to the Traverse City DDA.
➗ They say 30% comes back. That means 70% stays with the DDA, every year, for 20 more years.
🐷 TIF 97 was a 30-year deal. That was the deal.
Enough is Enough! Vote NO on City Prop 1 on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
