What's happening at the library this week?

Monday-Friday, 3-5pm - Fall Craft Week: Ages 5+ are invited to make a few fall crafts with us! Complete all the the crafts in one day, or come back a few times. Limits apply to each craft and everything is first come, first serve. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday, 10am-12pm - Brewed Connections: Adults 18+ can come enjoy coffee and a jigsaw puzzle in the Meeting Room.

Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am - Baby & Me: Caregivers of all kinds and their littles ages 0-3 can come play and meet new friends every Wednesday at the library.

Thursday, 1:30pm - Adult Book Club: This month we'll be discussing "The Frozen River" by Ariel Lawhon.

We're looking forward to our upcoming Fall Craft Week next week! Stop by anytime between 3pm & 5pm, Monday, October 12th through Friday, October 16th to make a seasonal craft or two. Crafts are intended for ages 5+, limits on each, and are first come, first serve. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

October's Book Club Lineup!

Interested in joining one of TDL's Book Clubs? Grab a copy of the book from the front desk up to 3 weeks before the meeting. None of our Clubs require registration or prior attendance!

Adult Book Club - Thursday, Oct. 15th, 1:30pm: For adults ages 18+. This month features "The Frozen River" by Ariel Lawhon.

Book? Club - Tuesday, Oct. 20th 3:30-5pm: For teens and young adults ages 15+. This month we're reading "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. We'll start the meeting with a walk to get snacks then discuss!

Adult Book Club - Thursday, Sept. 17th, 1:30pm: For adults ages 18+. This month features "The Busybody Book Club" by Freya Sampson.

NEW! Thriller Book Club - Thursday, Oct. 22nd, 6-8pm: For adults 18+. For this special spooky book club, we'll be discussing "The Intruder" by Freida McFadden, enjoying snacks, and doing a craft!

Graphic Novel Book Club - Tuesday, Oct. 27th, 3:30-4:30pm: For kids ages 8-12. This month we'll be discussing "Detective Beans & The Case of the Missing Hat" by Li Chen.In the interest of all members, participants MUST read the book ahead of time to be able to attend the meeting!

Tuesday, 3:30-4:30pm - Graphic Novel Book Club: This month we're reading 2 short Graphic Novels: Lake of Slime and Paint the Town Pink by Jarrett Lerner. To avoid spoilers, please be sure to read the books before joining Book Club! Ages 8-12.

We're getting excited for our Fall Craft Night this Thursday! Adults and teens ages 14+ are invited to stop by anytime between 4-7pm to make a few fall themed crafts. Our lineup includes DIY Simmer Pots, Fall Garland, Diamond Art, and Hoop Pumpkins. Limit one of each craft per person. No registration required!

What's happening at the library this week?

Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am - Baby & Me: Caregivers of all kinds and their littles ages 0-3 can come play and meet new friends every Wednesday at the library.

Thursday, 10:30am - Story Hour: This week's theme is Pizza! Come to the library to hear stories and learn rhymes about an all time favorite food. Perfect for ages 3-6.

Thursday, 4-7pm - Fall Craft Night: Ages 14+ are invited to stop by the library to do a fall themed crafts in the Meeting Room. A full lineup of crafts will be posted soon! Look out for DIY Simmer Pot mixes, diamond art coasters and bookmarks, and more!
