It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of longtime member Joe Fox.

Joe joined the Fire Company in 1983 and dedicated more than 43 years of service to our organization and community. Throughout his tenure, Joe served the Company in numerous capacities, including Engineer, Trustee, Secretary, Vice President, and President.

Joe’s decades of dedication and service to the Fire Company will not be forgotten. We are grateful for everything he gave to our organization, and he will be greatly missed by his fellow members and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held at the Bordentown Home for Funerals from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with services to follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

We extend our deepest condolences to Joe’s family and friends and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Joe. Thank you for your many years of dedicated service to the Fire Company and the community.

We’re not going to pretend this isn’t disappointing.⁠

Bordentown Township is postponing tomorrow’s fireworks. This wasn’t an easy call to make, but the heat forecast is dangerous, and that’s not something we’re willing to gamble with, not with your families, our volunteers, and our first responders out there for hours.⁠

So we’re moving the celebration instead of cancelling it. New date: August 4th. Same excitement, just a safer night for it.⁠

We know this isn’t the news you wanted. We’re sorry for the disappointment, and we appreciate you understanding why we made this call. ⁠

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the celebration services for newly graduating Firefighters Dominic Paretti, Ethan Mcglone & Ethan Shaltis.

They successfully completed the Burlington County Emergency Services training center Firefighter 1 program and will immediately begin serving our community as Volunteer Firefighters. Congratulations Gentlemen and welcome to the best community in the world.
