Anchor House is thrilled to receive a two-year Empowerment Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation. This grant will support our Safe Housing and Outreach programs to provide young people with housing assistance and support.

Our Executive Director, Kim McNear, recently accepted the award at the Empowerment Grant Celebration. The event was an inspiring opportunity to bring grantees together, celebrate their work, and share ideas.

Last evening, Anchor House Executive Director Kim McNear and Anchor House Ride For Runaways Director of Events Martha Moseley spent a wonderful evening speaking at the monthly meeting of the Upper Makefield Business Association (UMBA) with approximately 30 of their members.

It was a great opportunity to share the important work of Anchor House, highlight our programs and discuss the incredible impact of the Anchor House Foundation's Ride for Runaways.

A special thank you to UMBA President, Harry Barefoot and Ride participant Tim Thomas, whose efforts helped make this opportunity possible!

We are glad to have this opportunity with the Leadering From Within program - we take great pride in our staff and love to support them in their professional development. And of course, we're super proud of our own participant, June Albanowski, for the hard work and leadership qualities she brings to Anchor House! Great work, June!

Today, our Leading From Within cohort came together for another insightful session focused on leadership growth and self-awareness!

We were joined by Betsy Wallace, who guided participants through their Readiness Reports, helping them reflect on their strengths, identify areas for growth, and explore ways to become more effective leaders.

We were also fortunate to have Tamarra Causley Robinson, MS, MCC, CMC lead an engaging discussion on Emotional Intelligence, highlighting the importance of understanding ourselves and others to build stronger relationships and lead with intention.

A big thank you to Betsy and Tamarra for sharing their expertise and helping our emerging nonprofit leaders continue to grow!

came by Anchor House yesterday to drop off some much appreciated care kits! "Some" is a bit of an understatement - their team gathered 100+ care kits which we can distribute to youth in need. Donations like this really help us help others with supplies that others often take for granted - tooth paste, soap, floss, tissues, and more.

The Credit Union of New Jersey stopped by to help Anchor House get ready for a much-needed repainting! They also organized several spaces in the Anchorage - helping our staff and youth find what they need when they need it!

Anchor House is thrilled to receive a two-year Empowerment Grant from the Provident Bank Foundation! This grant will help partially support our Safe Housing and Outreach programs.

Empowerment Grant partners, including Anchor House staff, recently had the opportunity to work with The Provident Bank Foundation in coordination with America's Grow-a-Row to help harvest 45,000 servings of farm-grown produce.

We were proud to join the community in making an impact harvesting food to be donated locally.

Thank you to the Foundation for the continued support of our mission and for bringing us together for a morning of service!
