On September 12, CCC staff member Laura Oliveri finished the Bird-in-Hand Half-Marathon. The event, held annually in Bird-in-Hand, Pa., covers 13.1 miles through Amish farmland, with Amish children volunteering to hand out water to the runners. Laura, who took up running at age 40, brings the same dedication and hard work to running that she does to her role here at CCC as the agency’s IT specialist and program specialist III in our Subsidy Programs Department. We congratulate Laura on this accomplishment and thank her for showing us what’s possible!
