Today, the Gibson County Commission met at 9 am at the Gibson County Agriplex. Our returning and new county commissioners were sworn in by the Honorable Bradley Owens. We want to welcome all the new commissioners and we look forward to working together for the citizens of Gibson County.

Also pictured is Michael Hill, who was also sworn in today to continue as the county attorney after his appointment by the commission. Thank you for your service to our county.

The Gibson County Courthouse will be closed for the Labor Day holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 8 AM. We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday!

Today, several local agencies gathered to discuss plans for the upcoming Gibson County Fair! Leaders from all aspects of emergency services shared ideas and developed plans to ensure our residents and visitors are safe as they enjoy this time honored tradition!
