🐻💜🎉 OUR FIRST EVER AR PARADE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! 🎉💜🐻

📚✨ Today, our CES Cubs took a VICTORY LAP FOR READING! 🏆

Students who met BOTH their Accelerated Reader (AR) point goal AND their average comprehension goal earned a special spot in our very first AR Parade! 🎉📖

Our hallways were filled with cheers, smiles, excitement, and LOTS of CUB PRIDE as we celebrated these hardworking readers! 🐾💜

👑 A HUGE shoutout to Mrs. Lindi, our fabulous Grand Marshal, for leading the celebration and making our first parade extra special!

We had SO MUCH FUN celebrating our Cubs and showing them that HARD WORK DESERVES A BIG CELEBRATION! 🌟

📚 Keep reading, Cubs! We can’t wait to see even MORE readers marching in our next parade!

🐻💜🪨 ROCKIN’ AND ROLLIN’ AT CES! 🪨💎✨

Our Cubs had a ROCK-TASTIC time today with Gravel Monkey Geodes! 🐵💎

Our students got to explore the fascinating world of geology, discovering the hidden beauty of geodes and learning how these incredible natural treasures form! 🌎🔍

Experiences like today remind us that science ROCKS! 🧪🪨 Our Cubs were full of curiosity, excitement, and wonder as they discovered some of Earth’s amazing creations!

A HUGE Cub-sized THANK YOU to Gravel Monkey Geodes for bringing the excitement of geology to Comfort Elementary! Our students absolutely LOVED it! 💜🐻

Our first nine weeks are officially in the books, and we have some AMAZING Cubs to celebrate! 🎉📚

We are so proud of our 3rd–6th grade students who earned a spot on the Principal’s List and Honor Roll for the first nine weeks!

🏆 Principal’s List — All A’s!
⭐ Honor Roll — Outstanding Academic Achievement!

These students have demonstrated hard work, determination, and a commitment to doing their very best! Their accomplishments are worth celebrating, and we couldn't be prouder! 💜

A BIG thank you to our teachers and families for encouraging, supporting, and challenging our Cubs along the way. It takes a TEAM to help our little Cubs achieve BIG things! 🐾

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, CUBS! Keep working hard, setting goals, and reaching for the stars! The second nine weeks are another opportunity to SHINE! 🌟

🚌💜 HEADS UP, CUB FAMILIES! 💜🚌
We wanted to give our families plenty of notice about an upcoming transportation change for Friday, October 23.

Mrs. Mills will not be able to drive her afternoon route that day. We will still offer transportation home by running a combined route, but we want families to be aware that this could mean some students will not arrive home until around 5:30 PM.

We are sharing this information early so families have time to make alternate arrangements if needed. As we get closer to October 23, parents may let their child’s teacher know of any transportation changes for that afternoon.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for working with us to make sure all of our Cubs get home safely! 💜🐾🚌

10/20/2026

Friendly reminder: Report Card pickup tomorrow afternoon. Also, we will have our BooGrams for sale. Perfect time to sneak a treat for your Boo!
