It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of member George King. For over 50 years George was a proud member of the Fort Hunter Fire Department. Over the years he wore many leadership hats. He was past Chief of the Fort Hunter Fire Department, a commissioner of the Fort Hunter Fire District, Montgomery County Fire Coordinator, NYS Fire Investigator, and a distinguished NYS Fire instructor for years. Thank you for all your service, and we will take it from here.

On Monday Captain Bill Hall, Lieutenant Scott Romano and EMS/Interior Firefighter Malcolm Kosiba participated in fire prevention day at the Fonda Fultonville Central School. It was perfect weather and our leaders had a very attentive audience! Our members presented a lot of valuable information on fire safety, and they answered plenty of great questions! Thank you again to the school district and the teachers for extending an invitation to the Tribes Hill Fire Department.
