REQUEST FOR BIDS

The City of Trinidad is seeking bids for exterior improvements at the Trinidad Police Department, located at 160 E. 1st Street. The project includes:

✔️ Replacement of 31 linear feet of Hardy fascia on the west side of the building
✔️ Replacement of 372 sq. ft. of existing plywood exterior ceiling with 4x8 Hardy sheets
✔️ Installation of R30 batt insulation
✔️ Covering seams with Hardy strips

📍 A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held:
🗓 June 11, 2026
⏰ 10:00 a.m.

All interested contractors must attend the walkthrough to be eligible to submit a bid.

📅 Bids are due by June 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

The City of Trinidad is excited to announce the next Lodging Tax / Tourism Grant Cycle!

These grants support events, programs, and initiatives that help showcase our incredible community and drive tourism to Trinidad. If you have a project that brings visitors to our city and highlights what makes Trinidad special, we encourage you to apply!

Landfill Update – May 27

The landfill is OPEN today, May 27, for 4WD vehicles only due to current site conditions. Please use caution when entering and exiting the area.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep the site accessible and safe for everyone.

In observance of Memorial Day, all City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25.

As we enjoy the long weekend, we also pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

City offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
