The FY26 Annual Water Line Replacement is moving right along. Homes along Creekmere Dr are connected to a temporary water line and replacement of the main line is underway. A progress map is available on our website. We expect the yellow section to be completed by the end on Wednesday and work to begin on the orange section Thursday. Sod will be replaced on Creekmere and Edgemere concurrently at the conclusion of the project, and hopefully when the temperatures drop down to double digits.

The construction crew is being very cautious with the extreme heat and taking breaks from the direct sun as needed. We still think they are making great progress and we appreciate their hard work. They probably wouldn’t say no to a popsicle if you brought them one.

Thank you for your help as we continue the improvements to our infrastructure. We will continue to provide updates through email and our website at www.tcmud.org/water_projects, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. Please contact us with any questions or concerns at 682-831-4600.

Water line replacement on the east side of town is nearly finished. Work is wrapping up along Oakmont Dr between Carnoustie Dr and Trophy Club Dr. When the lines are installed, the crews will finalize work, test for water quality and pressure, connect the new line to homes, install new meter boxes and restore yards.

The project contractor has made great progress this summer. We expect crews to start staging equipment and materials near Creekmere Dr at the beginning of August. Once the equipment is staged, they will lay down the temporary line and start connecting homes along Creekmere Dr.

As construction winds down, if you see streetlights that do not work, please report it directly to Oncor by visiting: https://www.oncorstreetlight.com/ or calling 888-313-4747.

Thank you for your cooperation as we make these important improvements to our infrastructure. We will continue to provide updates through email and our website. Please contact us with any questions or concerns at 682-831-4600.

The FY26 Water Line Replacement project is making great progress. The crews have replaced the water line along the Oakmont Dr loop and are moving south towards Carnoustie Dr. Once they reach Carnoustie, they will pressurize the new line and test for water quality.

When the lines pass all tests, they will connect the newly installed main line to homes. There will be a brief water outage (15-30 minutes) when the temporary line is disconnected. The contractor will notify residents before making the connection.

We appreciate your patience! We will continue to provide updates through email and our website at www.tcmud.org/water_projects, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. Please reach out to us with any questions at 682-831-4600.

The FY26 Water Line Replacement project is moving along. A temporary water line is in use on Oakmont Dr. and the crews are working their way around the loop.

Most of the work is in the right-of-way, which can reach 10-15 feet from the curb in the yard. The contractor is using open trench installation to replace the existing water lines. Most driveway crossings and sidewalks will be bored underneath. Contractors will avoid damaging landscaping features as well. When the lines are installed, sod will be replanted and new fire hydrants will be set in place.

When there is a planned water shut down, we typically notify residents with a door hanger on the front door and an automated phone call. In emergencies, the quickest option to reach everyone is by automated phone call. In the event of an unplanned water shut off, we want to make sure you are adequately notified. Please reach out to make sure we have current contact information for your household. Please call 682-831-4600 or email [email protected] to verify your information.

We appreciate your support as we make these important improvements. As with all construction, weather and unforeseen obstacles can impact schedule and timetables; we will keep you posted as the project unfolds. Please use caution when traveling through work zones. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
