Today we had a technical rescue/vehicle accident near the Cogan House entrance ramp the 15/99 South. 400’ of rescue rope, 5:1 haul rig, and stokes basket were deployed to rescue the single injured patient. Squad 14 crew assisted with the haul operation while MICU-91 treated the patient. Vehicle came to rest approximately 185’ down over the embankment. Squad 16 responded with three, Engine 16 responded with two to the suspected vehicle fire that ended up being an overheating van then to the crash scene to assist with traffic. Traffic 15 and Traffic 14 maintained the passing lane closure until all other units returned to service.

Vehicle fire on South RTE 15/99 last evening. Squad 16 responded with four, SU-16 with two, three by POV, (our Cogan House “boys”.). Tanker 15 responded to support for additional water support. Vehicle removed by Performance Towing. Operation complete inside an hour or so with no injuries to report. Also, we were assisted with traffic control by Traffic 15 and Harry Entz.

Today is THE DAY! Join us for our 67th Annual Clam Steam at Ralston Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open at 4 (use the rear entrance!), first drawing is at 5. Beverages, food, auctions, raffles, 50/50s, rip tickets, and a good time guaranteed!

Admission is $15, and free with your raffle ticket stub. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Join us this Saturday for our 67th Annual Clam Steam at Ralston Volunteer Fire Department!

Raffle tickets will be sold at the door for $20 and include admission.
Admission without a raffle ticket purchase is $15.
If you already purchased a raffle ticket, bring your stub to get in free!

Admission includes beverages and food. Clams and shrimp sold separately:
Clams $5/dozen, shrimp $3/dozen
