Road Work Update

Hoagland Run Road will also be included in the list of roads that will be affected by repair work.

Road Work

The Gas Company will be and sealing the cracks in the roads on all of Edward’s Road and Green Mountain Road to Route 15.Also they will be sealing on Buckhorn Road to Acorn Road, Caldwell Road to Sue’s, Blair Road, and Taylor Road. This starts next week.
The Township will also be working on all township roads sealing cracks in the coming weeks. Please watch for signs.

Traffic Cones
Traffic cones are diasppearing from township property and other spots where they have been placed. Heavy duty traffic cones are very expensive and they need to be replaced for safety. If you see any, please return them to the township building, no questions asked.

The New Love Center Food Pantry Truck

The New Love Center Food Pantry truck will return to the Township building on:

September 3, 2026 – 2:00pm – 4:00pm
October 8, 2026 – 2:00 – 4:00pm

The October 8th date will be the final visit to Cogan House Township due to low attendance.

Feel free to bring reusable bags.

Cogan House Road Construction

July 27 and 28, 2026, the contractor will be doing permanent road & pipe repairs on Cogan House Road. Please be aware of changing traffic patterns from Cemetery Road to White Pine Church.

The bridge at Green Mountain Road is now open. The contractor will begin work on the bridge at Cemetery Road July 6, 2026, and the road will be closed again to through traffic.

Dust Control Oil will be applied to the dirt roads beginning on Monday, June 15, 2026 until Tuesday, June 16. Please stay off of the roads with signs for at least an hour in order for the oil to to dry and adhere to the road surface.
