Exciting news out of Wapakoneta …

IT'S OFFICIAL! The Auglaize County Historical Society is the new owner of the Armstrong Boyhood Home, 601 W. Benton Street, Wapakoneta. The purchase of the property was made possible through a generous donation of $400,000 from Mr. Kenneth Schreiber, a Dayton native and current resident of Texas. The long term plan for the house is restoration to its mid-1940s appearance. The Historical Society pledges to be a good steward of the property, a great neighbor to our friends on Benton and Buchanan streets, and a faithful contributor to all that makes Auglaize County great.
