We’re excited to share our October Ambassador Spotlight! Each month, we’ll be highlighting one outstanding Troy Chamber Ambassador, and sharing more about the impact they make within our Chamber community. 💙

Meet Sarah Harfield (Lady Sarah) - TCC Ambassador, Board Member, and Co-Owner of The Magic Soiree! 🪄

Lady Sarah has been an ambassador for years and loves being able to support other Chamber members. She says, "I love it when fellow Chamber members have a goal, something they want to achieve, but don't know how. We get together and brainstorm. I have lots of ideas... on everything!"

Sarah says she loves the diversity within the Troy Chamber, and being able to interact with so many different types of businesses and leaders. "We deal with every aspect of society, non-profits wanting to raise funds, corporates who want to impress clients, family parties. We love to make people laugh! Life if tough for individuals, families and businesses and all we want to change the world one laugh at a time!"

Growing her relationships through the Troy Chamber has been very important for The Magic Soiree. Sarah says, "Networking takes time, relationships have to grow. But over time, we have built those relationships and many many non-profits have trusted us with their fundraising events, many members of the chamber have brought their partners for a night out at one of our events, and then there are the corporate and private parties... They are a giggle."

Her advice for new members or anyone looking to network is simple: "Go to all of the different events, after hours events, and networking events run by different committees... And work on your pitch, what do you want to say in 30-60 seconds or less?" Sarah's favorite events are Women's Business Forum meetings or Fire & Flannel.

Outside of the Troy Chamber, Sarah is always traveling. A fun fact about her is that she has successfully trained 2 leader dogs for the blind, and had a pet pig as a kid!

AI might be the latest buzz, but how much do we really understand about what it is and how to use it effectively?

At our October Leadership Enrichment meeting, Kara Coraci and Ethan Rice of KARMA jack broke down the basics of artificial intelligence in their presentation, What A.I. Actually Is. Attendees explored some of the leading AI platforms, learned how AI gathers and generates information, and discussed the latest trends shaping the world of AI.

Welcome to the community, M/I Homes, Inc. - Wesley Park!

We were excited to celebrate the opening of this beautiful new home commubity with a ribbon cutting. Featuring luxury design elements and thoughtfully designed spaces, Wesley Park is a wonderful addition to our community. We look forward to seeing this neighborhood continue to take shape as more homes are built and residents begin to move in!

Today, the Troy Chamber team got out of the office to spend the day planning for an exciting 2027! 🎉

Seven hours of brainstorming, strategizing, and planning all the new events, programs, and opportunities we can bring to our members next year. But it couldn't be all work and no play! So we obviously added some arcade fun, bowling, and some yummy lunch.

A huge thank you to Escape Entertainment Center for hosting us and giving our team the perfect space to collaborate, plan, and have FUN!

We have some exciting things in store for our members in 2027, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming! 💙
