Today, several deputies with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office had the opportunity to attend a continuing education event focused on substance use, recovery, and the impact these issues have on individuals, families, and our community.

We appreciate the opportunity to expand our knowledge, strengthen our understanding, and continue learning how we can better serve and support the citizens of Pike County.

A special thank you to Troy University’s School of Social Work and Human Services for hosting and presenting this important event, and to Professor Madison Thomas for the invitation!

At the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, we believe that education, awareness, and community partnerships are essential to building a safer, stronger, and healthier community. 💙🚔

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office had the privilege of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of the grand opening of the Academy Street Career Innovation Center!

We are honored to support the Center and its variety of career programs, including Public Safety. Opportunities like these help equip and inspire our youth to become productive, successful members of society while giving them the tools and guidance they need to explore careers and begin laying the foundation for their future paths.

Congratulations and Thank you to everyone who helped make the Academy Street Career Innovation Center a reality! 👏🎓🚔

Thank you Mrs. Moore CTE Director and Principal of Academy street career innovation center for the invitation to the ceremony!
