MAP is endorsing Eaton County Prosecutor Doug Lloyd for Attorney General of Michigan in the Nov. 3 election based on his strong support of law enforcement during his 30-year career.

“We just want someone who will have a fair and objective lens when it has to do with all the use of force and law enforcement critical incidents across the State of Michigan, without being steered by some of today’s politics,” said MAP Director Chad Trussler after Union Staff and Members met with Lloyd to discuss his stance on issues. “We are not receiving that right now, and we believe he’s the best fit for the Attorney General’s office for the State of Michigan.”
