NEMT Mileage Reimbursement | mydss.mo.gov 05/27/2026

Did you know some MO HealthNet participants may be eligible for mileage reimbursement when traveling to covered medical appointments?

Through Missouri’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation program, eligible MO HealthNet participants may be able to receive reimbursement when they drive themselves, or when a family member or friend drives them, to approved medical appointments.

This can help with the cost of gas and travel for appointments such as doctor visits, therapy, dental care, vision care, and other covered medical services.

To use the program, trips usually need to be arranged through MTM Health before or on the day of the appointment. MTM will provide a trip number, and participants can submit mileage through the MTM Link Member app or by using a paper mileage reimbursement trip log.

This may be a helpful resource for neighbors who are on MO HealthNet and have reliable transportation but could use help covering the cost of getting to medical care.

Learn more or find the form through Missouri DSS:

Did you know?
Memorial Day was originally called “Decoration Day” after the Civil War, when communities gathered to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers and flags.
Today, we continue that tradition of remembrance by honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend as we pause to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸

LCCOA will be CLOSED Monday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day.
