25 years ago,our great nation suffered a tremendous loss.

We honor the 2,977 lives lost. 343 FDNY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, and 37 PAPD officers. These first responders made the ultimate sacrifice, and ran toward danger while others ran to safety.

25 years later, we still remember. We still honor. We will NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸

On this night 25 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. Tonight as you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

Prayers for our Brothers at Samburg-Reelfoot Volunteer Fire Department. They lost a tanker apparatus in a rollover accident today responding to a fire in Obion County. Also at least one FF was injured and airlifted out. Things happen fast guys, stay on your toes at all times, rather on the fire scene or in the truck!
